Issuance of a charitable solicitation certificate of registration does not constitute endorsement or approval by the town of any charitable organization. It is a violation of this subchapter for any person or charitable organization to claim, or imply, directly or indirectly, any such endorsement or approval by reason of having obtained a charitable solicitation certificate of registration from the town.
