§ 93.09  COMPLIANCE WITH ORDERS; APPEALS.
   Orders rendered pursuant to this chapter shall be complied with by the person against whom the order is directed, within the time specified in said order; provided that, such person may, within 24 hours of the service of such order, appeal to the President of the Town Council, who shall, within ten days, review such order and file his or her decision thereon. Unless the order is revoked or modified by the President of the Town Council, it shall remain in full force and shall be obeyed by the person against whom the order is directed. If the order is not fully complied with, the Chief of the town’s Volunteer Fire Department may cause the order to be executed by the Fire Department, may otherwise remove or abate the fire hazard or may certify non-compliance to the Town Attorney or his or her representative for proper court action. Proceedings under this section shall not relieve any party from prosecution, punishment or the imposition of a fine under this chapter or any other ordinance or chapter or section of the code in force within the town or any penalties prescribed under state statutes.
