(A) Fine. Whoever violates any section of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punished with a minimum fine of $10 for the first violation, $25 for the second violation within a three-month period and $100 for the third violation within a six-month period, and a maximum fine of $250 and costs, with each day that the violation continues being a separate offense which shall subject the violator to a separate fine.
(B) Prosecution. Whoever received a citation for violating any provision of this chapter may, within 72 hours of the citation being written, shall pay the same at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the town, who shall cause a receipt to be issued showing payment of the fine. If payment is made within the aforementioned period of time, then the fine shall be as shown in division (A) above. If the fine is not paid as set forth in the preceding sentence within the time period as shown on the citation, then the Marshal or Deputy Marshal shall cause the matter to be filed and docketed in a court of law and shall proceed with the prosecution thereof and the violator shall, upon conviction, be punished with a minimum fine of $10 for the first offense, $25 for the second offense within a three-month period and $100 for the third offense within a six-month period, and a maximum fine of $250 and costs, with each day that the violation continues being a separate offense, which shall subject the violator to a separate fine as set forth in division (A) above.
(C) Restraining order and/or injunction. In addition to the foregoing, the town is empowered to obtain a restraining order and/or permanent injunction against any person, firm, corporation or any other entity that shall be in violation of this chapter.
