§ 71.41  AUTHORIZED USE BY A POLICE OFFICER.
   Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary, a duly constituted law enforcement officer of the town, county or the state may authorize use of a vehicle on the public highways, streets and right-of-way within the town during emergencies when conventional motor vehicles cannot be used for transportation due to snow or other extreme highway conditions.
