§ 70.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Pursuant to I.C. 36-1-3-8(9) and (10), the maximum fine which may be imposed under the traffic code is $2,500. Specific fines have been provided throughout the traffic code, and reference must be made to the specific fine imposed for a particular violation of a section or provision of the traffic code.

   (B)   Any person violating any provision of Ch. 75 and 76 of this traffic code or of any resolution passed pursuant hereto when promulgated by the posting of an appropriate traffic sign, upon conviction of any and for each such violation, shall be punished with a minimum fine of $10 and a maximum penalty of $1,000.
