The Clerk of the county or the person designated by the court with the appropriate jurisdiction over the case shall pay into the General Fund of the town the municipal prosecutor’s fee, which fee is set by state statute, plus the fine for every judgment which is collected in the case. The Clerk of the county or the person designated by the courts with the appropriate jurisdiction over the case shall make such payment to the town as soon as is possible following the collection of any such judgments.
