§ 134.09 INJURING OR KILLING POLICE ANIMAL.
   (A)   Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      POLICE DOG. Any dog used by a law enforcement department of this town which is especially trained for law enforcement work and is subject to the control of a dog handler.
      POLICE HORSE. Any horse which is used by any law enforcement department of this town for law enforcement work.

   (B)   Injuring police dog or police horse.
      (1)   No person shall willfully torture, torment, beat, mutilate, injure, disable, or otherwise mistreat a police dog or police horse owned, or the service of which is employed, by a law enforcement department of the town.
      (2)   No person shall willfully interfere with the lawful performance of any police dog or police horse.

   (C)   Killing police dog or police horse. No person shall willfully kill any police dog or police horse owned, or the service of which is employed, by any law enforcement department of the town.
