§ 134.08 REFUSING OR FAILING TO ASSIST AN OFFICER.
   (A)   Any police officer of the town making or about to make an arrest or executing or about to execute a warrant or other process, in accordance with the town code or with state or federal law, or suppressing or about to suppress a riot, affray, or unlawful assembly may call upon a person or persons to assist him or her in making such arrest, executing such process, or suppressing such riot, affray, or unlawful assembly.
   (B)   No person lawfully called upon thus to assist any police officer of the town shall refuse or fail to do so whenever such assistance is reasonably possible.
