§ 90.42 REDEMPTION AND FEES.
   (A)   An owner or harborer of an impounded dog may redeem the animal prior to its sale, destruction, or delivery to an institution by obtaining the license and tag and paying the tax hereinabove set forth or by showing proof that he or she has obtained the aforementioned and by paying an additional $10 for every 24 hours or portion of 24 hours during which such dog has been impounded.
   (B)   The fees for impounding and keeping animals, other than dogs to be paid upon redemption, shall be $10 for every 24 hours or portion of 24 hours during which said animal has been impounded and by obtaining any required license set forth in §§ 90.26 and 90.27.
   (C)   All fees shall be paid to the Town Clerk. Receipt for payment of fees on an impounded animal shall be presented to the animal control officer before the animal shall be released.
