§ 93.26 OUTDOOR WOOD FURNACES.
   (A)   Outdoor wood furnaces shall be constructed, established, installed, operated, and maintained in conformance with the manufacturers instructions and the requirements of this chapter.
   (B)   The owner of any outdoor wood furnace shall produce the manufacturers owner’s manual or installation instructions to the Property Maintenance Officer to be reviewed before it is installed or at any time if requested.
   (C)   All outdoor wood furnaces shall be laboratory tested and listed to appropriate safety standards such as UL, CAN/CSA, ANSI, or other applicable safety standards.
   (D)   All outdoor wood furnaces shall be located at least 25 feet from the property line and at least 100 feet from any residence that is not served by it.
   (E)   The owner of an outdoor wood furnace shall obtain written authorization from all abutting neighbors as well as Village Council before installing in the village.
   (F)   The chimney height for an outdoor wood furnace shall be at least two feet above the peak of any residence in the area around the unit.
   (G)   All outdoor wood furnaces shall burn only natural untreated wood, wood pellets, corn produces, biomass pellets, or other listed fuels specifically permitted by manufacturers instructions such as fuel oil, natural gas, or propane backup.
