§ 8-2-5 APPLICATION TO CITY CLERK.
   (A)   An application for a license and/or identification card under this article shall be made on forms furnished by the city. Every application shall be accompanied by an application fee in the amount provided in A.J.C.C. Vol. I, § 8-2-6. In the event a license and/or identification card is not issued, the application fee shall not be refunded but shall be applied to cover the cost of processing the application.
   (B)   All licenses shall be valid only for 1 year from the date issued unless renewed each year by paying the appropriate fee(s) on or before the last city business day of the month prior to the annual anniversary of the original issuance of such license. Payment for renewal must be received within the City Clerk’s office by such date to be deemed filed and paid.
