Unless the animal is quarantined at the animal control facility pursuant to § 6-2-8, if the owner of any animal shall, within 3 consecutive business days after it has been captured and impounded, apply to the Enforcement Officer and pay the fees and charges authorized under this chapter, as well as make current all licensing and vaccination requirements and fees, the Animal Control Division must make the animal available for return to the owner at the Animal Control Division office.
