The members of the Parks and Recreation Commission shall receive no salaries or other remuneration for their services in such capacity, and shall not be entitled to personal expenses incurred by them in the discharge of their official duties, except to the extent and purposes and amount such expenses are first authorized and approved in advance by the Council.
