§ 12-1-2 RECORDS OF TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS.
   (A)   The Police Department shall keep a record of all violations of the traffic laws of the city or of the state vehicle laws of which any person has been charged consistent with federal and state law.
   (B)   All forms for records of violations and notices shall be serially numbered. For each month and year a written record shall be kept available to the public showing the disposal of all such forms.
   (C)   All records and reports shall be open to the public, subject to privacy and confidential considerations set forth in federal and state statutes as interpreted under common law.
