(A) Injury to any person or animal or damage to any property, by an animal while at large or under the owner’s control, shall be the full responsibility of the animal owner or person responsible for the animal when such damages were inflicted.
(B) The owner of an animal that bites a person who is in or on a public place or lawfully in or on a private place, including the property of the owner of the animal, is liable for damages suffered by the person bitten, regardless of the former viciousness of the animal or the owner’s previous knowledge of its viciousness.
