For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SANITARY LANDFILL. The application which shall be addressed to the Supervisors of the township, setting forth the details required under § 114.02(A), (B) and (C), and requesting permission to operate a sanitary landfill.
INSPECTORS. Employees of the Township of Antis, authorized by the Supervisors of the township to make daily or weekly inspections of the areas approved for sanitary landfill, during such operation.
SANITARY LANDFILL. A method of permanent disposal of nonsalvageable waste, including dry trash, incombustible rubbish, edible and nonedible garbage, by either digging a trench to contain refuse, or covering a small area with refuse, then spreading and compacting this refuse for minimum bulk and minimum settlement and daily covering completely the compacted refuse with a minimum layer of six inches of soil which, after covering, should again be compacted.
SPECIFIC AREA. The area described in the application and that area only.
