During January of each year, the Police Commission shall elect one of its members as chairperson and one as vice-chairperson who shall each hold office for one year or until their respective successors are elected. After all Police Commission members have been appointed and confirmed, officers shall be elected no later than the second meeting of the Police Commission. No officer shall be eligible to serve more than two consecutive terms in the same office.
