Every applicant for a permit to install, add to, alter, relocate, or replace an electrical system, or part thereof, shall state in writing on the application form provided for that purpose the character of the work proposed to be done and the amount and kind in connection therewith, if available, together with such information pertinent thereto as may be required. The administrative authority may require that plans, specifications, or drawings be presented in order to determine if the proposed work meets the requirements of the Electrical Code.
