(a) Generally. Each member of the Board of Appeals is entitled to an annual salary of $5,250.
(b) Per diem allowance. In addition to the salary provided in subsection (a), each member is entitled to a per diem allowance of $75 for each day on which the member incurs necessary travel and incidental expenses while engaged in the discharge of official duties. The allowance is subject to the approval of the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Appeals on a form prepared by the Clerk to the Board of Appeals.
