There is a Department of Social Services as provided in the Charter. The County Executive and the Chair of the Anne Arundel County Board of Social Services shall evaluate annually the Anne Arundel County Director of Social Services. The evaluation shall be in writing and reviewed in person with the Director, the Secretary of Human Resources, and the Anne Arundel County Board of Social Services.
