(a) Offices in Executive Branch. There are the following offices in the Executive Branch:
(1) Executive Office;
(2) Office of the Chief Administrative Officer;
(3) Office of Administrative Hearings;
(4) Office of the Budget;
(5) Office of Central Services;
(6) Office of Emergency Management;
(7) Office of Finance;
(8) Office of Information Technology;
(9) Office of Law;
(10) Office of Personnel; and
(11) Office of Planning and Zoning.

(b) Departments in Executive Branch. There are the following departments in the Executive Branch:
(1) Department of Aging and Disabilities (successor to the Department of Aging);
(2) Department of Detention Facilities (successor to the Office of Detention Facilities and the Office of Criminal Justice and Corrections);
(3) Fire Department;
(4) Department of Inspections and Permits;
(5) Police Department;
(6) Department of Public Works (successor to the Department of Public Works and the Department of Utilities); and
(7) Department of Recreation and Parks.
(c) Other entities included in Executive Branch. To the extent not prohibited by State law, the following are treated as being in the Executive Branch for the purposes of funding and coordinating State and County services at the local level:
(1) Anne Arundel Community College;
(2) Department of Education;
(3) Health Department;
(4) Department of Libraries; and
(5) Department of Social Services.
(d) Entities not included in Executive Branch. The following County-funded State agencies are not assigned to the Executive Branch:
(1) Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County;
(2) Orphans' Court for Anne Arundel County;
(3) Office of the State's Attorney;
(4) Office of the Sheriff of Anne Arundel County;
(5) Board of License Commissioners for Anne Arundel County; and
(6) Board of Supervisors of Elections for Anne Arundel County.
