(a) Voting members.
(1) The Commission consists of no more than 13 voting members appointed by the County Executive as follows:
(i) two residents of the City of Annapolis, one nominated by the Mayor of the City of Annapolis and one nominated by the Annapolis City Council;
(ii) two residents of the County nominated by the County Council; and
(iii) no more than nine residents of the County chosen by the County Executive.
(2) The voting membership shall include a diversity of experience and expertise, and at least one voting member from each of the following categories:
(i) workforce or economic development;
(ii) reentry services;
(iii) health, including public health;
(iv) education;
(v) justice, equity, and diversity;
(vi) community organization; and
(vii) social work.
(b) Non-voting ex officio members. The Commission shall include one representative of each of the following as non-voting ex officio members:
(1) Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation;
(2) Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation;
(3) Arundel Community Development Services, Inc.;
(4) Anne Arundel County Board of Education;
(5) Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services;
(6) the Health, Equity, and Racial Justice Division of the Anne Arundel County Department of Health;
(7) Anne Arundel Community College; and
(8) County Office of Equity and Human Rights.
