§ 12-4-503. Notice; holding period.
   When a domesticated animal is impounded, the Agency shall make a reasonable attempt to notify the owner or known community cat caregiver of the animal. Unless extremely aggressive, seriously diseased or injured, suffering, or under 3 months of age, an animal that is impounded or brought to the Agency for placement or destruction shall be held at the facility for at least five days unless sooner redeemed.
