§ 11-4-103. Term; renewal.
   (a)   Term. A license issued under this title is valid for a term of one year from the month of issuance.
   (b)   Renewal before expiration. A license is renewable if an application for renewal is filed on or before the expiration date, the required renewal fee is paid, and the applicant complies with the provisions of this title. An electrician's license is renewable without examination if the application for renewal is filed on or before the expiration date.
   (c)   Renewal after expiration. The Director may renew a license that has not been renewed before the expiration date if an application for renewal is filed within 30 days after the expiration date, the applicant pays the renewal fee and a late fee of $25, and the applicant complies with the provisions of this title. Otherwise, a license that has not been renewed on or before the expiration date may not be renewed unless the applicant complies with the requirements for an original license.
