A copy of the application of a Class D license shall be forwarded to the Chief of Police or the designee of the Chief of Police. Within 30 days after the date of the application, the Chief of Police or the designee of the Chief of Police shall inform the Director of the date and nature of any criminal conviction of any of the individuals named in the application. The Director shall consider the information in making a determination as to the advisability of issuing the license.
