(a) Cash deposit or irrevocable letter of credit in lieu of bond. The County may accept a cash deposit or an irrevocable letter of credit in lieu of a bond required under this title.
(b) Acceptable forms of security. Any security required by this title shall be in a form acceptable to the County Attorney and the Controller and, if provided in a form other than cash, from a bonding company or financial institution acceptable to the Controller.
