(a) Appointment. The County Executive, after advice from and recommendation by members of the Authority, shall appoint an Airport Manager who shall serve at the pleasure of the County Executive.
(b) Qualifications. The Airport Manager shall be of good character, integrity, and business experience.
(c) Financial interest prohibited. Neither the Airport Manager nor the Airport Manager's grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, grandson, granddaughter, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, niece, or nephew, or the spouse of any of them, may have a financial interest in any project with respect to which the Authority has jurisdiction or any power or authorization to act.
(d) Compensation. The Airport Manager shall receive compensation as may be fixed by the Authority from time to time.
(e) Additional duties. In addition to other duties as may be imposed by the Authority, the Airport Manager is responsible for daily operations of the Authority, supervision of any activities or tasks performed by the fixed base operator, and appointment of all employees, determination of their duties and conditions of employment, and fixing their compensation, consistent with the bylaws, policies, and procedures adopted by the Authority.
