§ 3-6A-103. Composition.
   Number and type of members. The Board consists of at least 16 members appointed by the County Executive.
      (1)   Voting members. Of the 16 members, 11 shall be voting members who are residents of Anne Arundel County. Of the 11 voting members:
         (i)   eight shall represent the maritime industry and its geographically and economically diverse interests, including but not limited to: full-service marinas and specialized marine trades; large and small craft; charter boat and tourism business; commercial waterman trade; sailboats and powerboats; and human-powered watercrafts;
         (ii)   two shall be members of a yacht club or similar recreational, pleasure-boating organization; and
         (iii)   one shall be a designee from a not-for-profit Anne Arundel County watershed organization.
      (2)   Councilmanic district representation. Of the 11 voting members specified in subsection (1), no more than five members shall be residents of the same councilmanic district.
      (3)   Nonvoting ex-officio members. The following shall serve as non-voting ex-officio members:
         (i)   a member of the County Council, selected by the County Executive and the Chairman of the Anne Arundel County Council;
         (ii)   the President of the Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation or their designee;
         (iii)   the Marine Trades Association of Maryland Vice-President for Anne Arundel County or their designee;
         (iv)   the Chair of the City of Annapolis Maritime Industry Advisory Board or their designee; and
         (v)   other individuals designated by the County Executive as desired.
