(A) Examples of permitted uses.
(1) Retail and service establishments - Department, dry foods and apparel stores, mail order houses, variety and dime stores, art or antique shops, self-service laundries, dry cleaning shops, hardware stores, shoe stores, business and professional offices, specialty shops.
(2) Entertainment services - Motion picture theaters, dance halls, studios, bowling alleys, skating rinks, lounges.
(3) Food establishments - Food stores, restaurants, delicatessens.
(4) Printing and publishing - Commercial printing establishments, newspaper printing and the like, providing that the business is in an enclosed building and does not require outside storage of material or products and is not objectionable by reason of smoke, noise, dust, odor, cinders, vibrations, fumes, glare, or light.
(4) Public uses - Governmental office buildings, fire/police stations, libraries, and other uses supported in whole or in part by taxes.
(B) Examples of conditional uses.
(1) Churches and places of worship - Churches and other places of worship.
(2) Educational - Vocational, community college, college, university.
(3) Hospitals, nursing homes.
(4) Day care facilities.
(5) Primary public utilities.
(6) Upper story apartments.
(7) Automotive services and fuel.
