176.01 SHORT TITLE.

This chapter shall be known as the Ankeny Mechanical Code, and may be cited as such, and may be referred to herein as this chapter.

176.02 ADOPTION OF MECHANICAL CODE.

The International Mechanical Code; published by the International Code Council, Inc., as currently adopted and amended by the Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board, Iowa Department of Public Health, is hereby adopted as further clarified by the Ankeny Mechanical Code.

176.03 INSERTION - TITLE.

Title, of the IMC, is hereby modified by inserting: [the City of Ankeny]

176.04 INSERTION - CREATION OF ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.

Creation of Enforcement Agency, of the IMC, is hereby modified by inserting: [Ankeny Department of Building Safety]
