175.15 SECTION 109.2 ADDITION - SCHEDULE OF PERMIT FEES.

Section 109.2, Schedule of Permit Fees, of the IBC is hereby amended by adding the following exception:

Section 109.2 Schedule of Permit Fees exception:
Persons performing work on exempt projects for the Federal Government, the State of Iowa, Polk County or City of Ankeny may obtain permits for such work without paying permit fees described herein: provided, however, that nothing in this section shall be construed to exempt payment of permit fees by persons performing work under the direction of the City of Ankeny in connection with the abatement of property as prescribed by law.

175.16 SECTION 109.2.1 ADDITION - PLAN REVIEW FEES.

Section 109.2.1, Plan review fees, of the IBC, is hereby established by adding the following sections:

Section 109.2.1 Plan review fees Fees for all plan reviews shall be as set forth and established by resolution of the City Council. All such fees shall be paid in accordance with the terms and requirements of such resolution or as the same may be amended by the City Council from time to time.

175.17 SECTION 109.4 ADDITION - WORK COMMENCING BEFORE PERMIT ISSUANCE.

Section 109.4, Work commencing before permit issuance, of the IBC, is hereby established by adding the following sentence after said sections:

Sections 109.4 Work commencing before permit issuance Said fee shall be 100 percent of the usual permit fee in addition to the required permit fees.

175.18 SECTIONS 111.2 - CERTIFICATE ISSUED.

Section 111.2, Certificate issued, of the IBC, is hereby amended by addition of the following paragraph:

Section 111.2 Certificate issued Fees for all Final Occupancy Certificates shall be as set forth and established by resolution of the City Council. All such fees shall be paid in accordance with the terms and requirements of such resolution or as the same may be amended by the City Council from time to time.
