§ 71.05 TRUCK ROUTES.
   (A)   Drivers of freight-carrying vehicles of one-ton capacity or more, except vehicles having origin or destination in this town, are hereby prohibited from operating or driving these vehicles over that portion of the town streets not marked and maintained as state routes, except in that in making deliveries; these freight-carrying vehicles, upon leaving state routes, shall proceed to the delivery destination by nearest routes.
   (B)   Freight-carrying vehicles of one-ton capacity or more shall not park on streets in that portion of the town where streets are not marked and maintained as state routes; provided, however, these vehicles may park in an area for the purpose of loading and unloading for a period of 60 minutes.
   (C)   The Marshal’s office shall have authority to grant permits to the owners of freight-carrying vehicles, service trucks and service vehicles authorizing them to park for a longer period than 60 minutes in the central business area when evidence is presented to the Marshal’s office showing the necessity thereof. Application for this permit shall be made to the Marshal stating the time and location requested. It shall be unlawful for any owner or driver to violate the terms of the permit.
