It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect, construct or maintain or to cause or permit to be erected, constructed or maintained any advertising structure or sign device of any kind or character for the purpose of advertising the wares, goods, merchandise or business of any such person, firm or corporation, when such advertising structure or sign device displays or makes use of the words "STOP," "LOOK," "DRIVE IN," "DANGER," or any other word, phrase, symbol or character in such a manner as to interfere with, mislead or confuse traffic.
