(a) At all times during construction, the general contractor of a construction project, or, if there is none, the owner, tenant or other person or entity who contracted for the improvements, shall maintain on the site a sign visible and legible from the street right of way identifying the site by the street address number, if available, and by sublot number.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
