377.05 SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROTECTIVE HELMET.

Each protective helmet shall be approved to meet the standards of the American Motorcycle Association for Group II Safety Helmets or shall be a type constructed of an outer shell of semi-resilient matter designed to disburse force of impact and having a tensile strength of 6,000 pounds per square inch and shall also contain inside padding of energy absorbing liner and be equipped with a chin strap hold-down.
