(a) It is hereby declared to be the public policy of the City to which all elected and appointed officials and employees thereof who exercise supervisory or discretionary duties that they shall observe to the best of their understanding and ability Sections 801 through 819 of Title VIII, Fair Housing of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, Public Law 90-284 and Ohio R.C. Chapter 4112 as adopted and amended.
(b) The Mayor shall cause to be printed notices of suitable size to be publicly posted in the Municipal Building evidencing such policy adoption as the official policy of the City.
(c) The Mayor is hereby authorized to present whenever necessary a certified copy of this section to any public body or agency reasonably requesting same as evidence of this stated policy.

(d) The Mayor shall appoint a Fair Housing Board to administer the provisions of this section. The Board shall consist of seven members to be appointed for concurrent terms of one year. Initial appointments shall be made seven days after the effective date of this subsection and subsequent appointments shall be made annually on January 2 each year thereafter.
