(a) Members of the Technology Advisory Board shall serve on a volunteer basis with no compensation for their activities as a Board member.
(b) No member of the Technology Advisory Board shall be eligible to bid on any City contract that is related in any way to the actions or discussions of the Board for a period of one year after he/she ceases to be a member of the Board.
(c) Providing the Board has submitted an annual request for appropriations and that request has been incorporated into the annual budget of the City of Amherst, board members may be reimbursed for any real, actual and appropriate expenses incurred in the performance of their duties as a member of the Board in accordance with all appropriate City policies and procedures.
(d) No action or recommendation of the Board shall be binding on the City of Amherst, the Administration or City Council. As an advisory entity the Board is prohibited from going into closed meetings or executive sessions without the advice, consent and participation of the Law Director and/or their designee.
