(a) In the performance of its activities and research function, the Board may request:
(1) Access to written reports describing specific functions, processes or existing technology.
(2) The cooperation of the function and its personnel in completing research required for resolution of issues presented to the Board.
(3) Permission to conduct a technology survey and/or inventory for the function.
(b) The Board may also serve as an advisor to the Data Processing Committee of the City of Amherst.
