Whoever violates any provision of this chapter, who has not appeared by waiver shall be fined not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for a first offense; not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for a second offense committed within one year, or imprisoned thirty days, or both; for a third offense committed within one year, not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both.
