1351.03 CONFLICTS OF LAWS.
This Housing Code establishes minimum standards for occupancy and does not replace or modify standards otherwise established for construction, replacement or repair of buildings except such as are in conflict with provisions of this Housing Code. Where a provision of this Housing Code is found to be in conflict with a provision in any building or zoning ordinance or in any other ordinance of the City or statute of the State or in any regulation issued under the authority of such ordinances or statutes, the provision which establishes the higher standard for the protection of health, self-safety and welfare shall prevail, and nothing in this Housing Code shall be construed to supersede, limit, modify or replace any of the powers or duties of the Fire Chief or Building Inspector of the City.
