Fullway valves shall be installed throughout to insure proper functioning of the filtration and piping system.
(a) A valve shall be installed on the main suction line located in an accessible place outside the walls of the pool when the pump is below the overflow rim of the pool.
(b) Valves up to and including two inches in size shall be brass. Sizes over two inches may have cast iron or brass bodies. All working parts of valves shall be noncorrosive material.
(c) Combination valves may be installed if the materials and design comply with the intent of these standards.
