(a) There is hereby established a part-time position of Electrical Inspector, who shall be unclassified as to civil service law and shall be approved by the Director of Public Safety and Safety. The Electrical Inspector shall report to the Building Official.
(b) The position of Electrical Inspector is hereby declared to be a part-time position to be paid fifty dollars ($50.00) for each inspection or a negotiated wage or salary, as may be established from time to time by Council.
(c) There is hereby established the position of back-up Electrical Inspector, who shall be unclassified as to civil service law and shall be approved by the Director of Public Safety and Service. The back-up Electrical Inspector shall perform inspections in the event of the unavailability of the Electrical Inspector pursuant to section 4101:7-2 of the Ohio Administrative Code.
(d) The compensation for the position of back-up Electrical Inspector shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) for each inspection.
