The Major Thoroughfare and Comprehensive Plan as prepared by the Lorain County Regional Planning Commission on September 19, 1973 and revised November 24, 1976 which is on file with the Lorain County Planning Commission, and the Lorain County Regional Planning Commission report number 14 titled "Parks Recreation and Open Space, A Plan for Lorain County, Ohio" on file with the Lorain County Planning Commission and dated January 28, 1971, are hereby adopted by the City of Amherst, Ohio. The Clerk of Council of Amherst is directed to notify the Lorain County Regional Planning Commission of the adoption of the Major Thoroughfare Plan and Comprehensive Plan by forwarding a certified copy of this resolution, instructing that the same be recorded in the office of the Lorain County Recorder.
