911.23 CESSPOOLS AND VAULTS, USE AND DISCONTINUANCE.
   No cesspool or vault shall be connected with any private or public sewer. No cesspool or vault will be allowed to exist in any basement or cellar.
   No sewer or kitchen drain from any building or premises shall discharge into any cesspool, vault or other like receptacle, where such building or premises abuts on a street provided with proper sewer accommodations with which the same can be connected. If at any future time such premises are provided with such sewerage accommodations within sixty days after notice, the future use of such cesspools, vaults or other similar receptacles for the disposal of sewage shall be discontinued and the proper connections made with the main or lateral sewer. Such cesspools, vaults or other receptacles shall be cleaned out and filled with earth or cinders under the direction of the Superintendent of Sewers.
   When a cesspool or vault must necessarily be used, it must be in accordance with the regulations of the Lorain County Board of Health.
