Following sewer work trenching, the property owner shall also be held responsible for any subsequent settlement of the surface of the street, sidewalk, etc., and shall, upon notification, make the same as good as before he began the work. If this is not done within ten days after receiving notice, the City will do the work and assess the cost of the same against the property owner.
