All sewer pipes shall be of uniform size with the connecting tap. They shall, except those which enter buildings, be of the best quality of PVC plastic pipe, acceptable to the Superintendent of Sewers. All pipes shall be laid to proper grade of not less than four percent (4%) grade where practicable, by the use of the spirit level. The joints shall be well sealed, so that the same will be watertight. Two forty-five degree angles shall be used in place of a ninety degree angle in deviation from a straight line in the length of one joint of pipe.
