The terms "private investigator", "business of private investigation", "security guard provider" and "business of security services", as used in this chapter shall be defined as provided in Ohio R.C. 4749.01 effective November 27, 1985, provided, however, that the terms "private investigator", "business of private investigation", "security guard provider" and "business of security services" shall not include a person regularly employed as a full or part-time officer or patrolman in the City Police Department.
