(A) The Village Council, pursuant to Section 2 of Article VI of the Village Charter, hereby designates the Village Planning Commission as an Appeals Board for any appeals arising under this chapter of the village code.
(B) The chairperson of the Planning Commission shall be chairperson of the Appeals Board. Meetings of the Appeals Board shall be held as needed and shall be held at the call of the chairperson, or in his or her absence, the acting chairperson. All meetings of the Appeals Board shall be open to the public except that the Board may deliberate in executive sessions as part of quasi-judicial hearings in accordance with law. The Appeals Board shall keep minutes of its proceedings showing the vote of each member upon each question and shall keep records of all official actions. Records of the Appeals Board shall be kept and filed at Village Hall in the regular Amberley Village records.
