(A) Hamilton County Building Code.
(1) The Hamilton County, Ohio, Building Code, including its Schedule of Fees, together with all amendments and modifications thereto as adopted from time to time by the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners, is adopted, save and except such portions of the Code as may be modified in this chapter, and shall be known as the Amberley Village Building Code.
(2) The Hamilton County, Ohio, Building Code, as adopted and amended herein, applies to all buildings in the village now or hereafter constructed, altered, remodeled, or renovated.

(B) Ohio Building Code.
(1) There is adopted for the purpose of regulating the construction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location, and maintenance of buildings and structures, the Ohio Building Code, November 1, 2011 edition, together with all amendments thereto as adopted by the Board of Building Standards, State of Ohio, and said Code is hereby incorporated as fully as if set out in length herein.
(2) The Ohio Building Code, as adopted herein, applies to all buildings in the village now or hereafter constructed, altered, remodeled, or renovated, except single-family, two-family, and three-family dwelling houses which are not constructed of industrialized units.

(C) Residential Building Code. The Residential Building Code of Ohio, January 1, 2013 edition, together with all amendments thereto adopted by the State of Ohio, or the most recent version of said Code as may be adopted from time to time by the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners, whichever is later, is adopted, save and except such portions of the Code as may be modified in this chapter.
(D) If any of the above referenced codes are updated with new editions from time to time, said editions, and any amendments thereto, shall be automatically adopted and enforced in Amberley Village with or without further action of the Village Council immediately upon approval of said code by the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners.
