§ 50.43 NOTICE TO REMOVE OBSTRUCTIONS.
   Whenever the Building Commissioner finds that, by reason of the making of a fill or partial fill thereon, a tract of land is inadequately drained, or that such fill obstructs or interferes with lawfully existing sewerage or drainage, the Building Commissioner shall notify the owner of the tract to remove the fill or to provide the necessary sewerage to eliminate the obstruction. Notice may be served upon the owner by personal delivery, by mail at his last known place of residence or by posting on the premises. Failure after receipt of notice to remove the fill or to provide the necessary sewerage within ten days shall constitute an unlawful act. Each additional period of ten days thereafter during which the owner fails to carry out the order of the Mayor shall constitute a separate offense.
